Autrey Mill Nature Preserve & Heritage Center
The past and pastimes collide at this unique preserve marked by a collection of 19th century farmstead buildings and artifacts in the Heritage Village and more than two miles of scenic woodland trails – all embraced by 46 tranquil acres of natural forest and a winding creek.
Featuring two distinct sides so guests can fuel up and rock on, 37Main offers a club venue with a sprawling stage and dance floor on one end and a 7,000 square foot restaurant on the other. This hot spot is the place where food is music to the soul. Featuring the top 80’s cover bands, 37Main is a great venue for all ages.
This superbly scenic setting comprised of 52 acres, a small lake, 2 miles of walking trails, playgrounds, picnic pavilions, tennis courts, dog park, seasonal farmer’s market and a community garden, Newtown Park serves as the ideal backdrop to the battle cry of “Long Live Local”.
Johns Creek Veterans Memorial Walk
Representative of a scenic and serene space to honor our veterans and those who bravely continue to serve, the Memorial Walk encompasses four awe-inspiring acres in Newtown Park. A series of plazas pay tribute to U.S. servicemen and women who served in WWI, WWII, Korea, the Gulf War, Iraq and Afghanistan as well as POWs, MIAs and those wounded or killed.
The Chattahoochee River makes up a 13 mile stretch of the natural border between Johns Creek and Gwinnett County. A natural draw for kayakers, canoe paddlers seeking an opportunity to be one with Mother Nature, the “Hooch” is also a popular destination for sunbathers soaking up rays on the shoals and tubers lazily floating downstream on a hot summer day.
Verizon Wireless Amphitheater
The Verizon Wireless Amphitheater at Encore Park is a state-of-the-art venue that provides a unique experience for music lovers and concert goers.
